Genoa Chamber of Commerce and Start 4.0: double intervention to support businesses in secure digitalization

In this article, we discuss

The Genoa Chamber of Commerce has activated two complementary projects with Start 4.0 to support the digital transformation of local businesses: Cybersecurity Awareness & Advisory and ReStart with Digital.
Both initiatives, funded by the PNRR – Next Generation EU, are aimed at micro, small and medium-sized businesses in the area and aim to strengthen skills, awareness and operational capabilities in the digital field.

The Cybersecurity Awareness & Advisory project involved the activation of the Cyber Guru platform, with over 120 licenses for training Chamber of Commerce and business employees, simulated phishing campaigns and digital training modules. The service also included a complete security assessment, developed with the support of HWG Sababa, to evaluate processes, policies and level of exposure to cyber risks, defining a roadmap for improving the security posture.

At the same time, ReStart with Digital offered companies a training course on web marketing, e-commerce, cybersecurity and strategic management of innovation, with theoretical lessons and immersive visits to technologically advanced companies in the Start 4.0 ecosystem.

Thanks to these interventions, the Chamber of Commerce strengthens its role as a facilitator of innovation at a local level, and Start 4.0 confirms its mission to promote widespread, safe and sustainable digitalization, even among smaller companies.
