The development of the first phases of the HealtyCity4.0 project begins, which aims to integrate advanced technological solutions such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, BIM, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to improve the safety and quality of health infrastructures. The project aims in particular to develop Digital Twins of health facilities for the identification of hot spots for the safety of physical infrastructures, a linguistic model for the management of safety protocols and emergency response (e.g. fires) in the health/care sector, the expansion of the potential of the services of the Dedalus clinical platform in terms of safety and quality (Clinical Knowledge Platform- CKP). The project is developed by a partnership led by La SIA S.p.A., a company active in the engineering & design sector with a focus on critical infrastructures, listed on Euronext Growth Milan, together with ETT S.p.A., Dedalus Italia S.p.A., Ameri S.r.l. and the Start 4.0 Competence Center, as part of the 2023 call for industrial research projects, financed with PNRR funds, which contributes with a €400,000 loan. Thanks to the adaptability of the integrated technological solutions, the goal is to make this project a case study to be replicated in other contexts related to critical infrastructures, thus contributing to the development of increasingly digital cities, through attention to the principles of safety, sustainability and inclusiveness, thus improving the lives of all citizens.
