The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), in collaboration with Invitalia, has launched a strategic funding initiative of €150 million aimed at SMEs and self-employed workers to support the adoption of advanced cloud computing and cybersecurity services.
This measure, part of the Transition 4.0 Plan and funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), aims to accelerate the digital transformation of the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem, strengthening cybersecurity and improving operational efficiency, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises.

As a national Competence Center for secure and sustainable digital transformation, START4.0 is available to support all SMEs with technical and strategic guidance in project definition, helping businesses to:
- Understand the funding program and assess eligibility;

- Design and configure the project in line with the required standards;
- Maximize the technological and operational impact of the investment.
