Harpaceas S.r.l., a Milanese company specializing in solutions for the construction sector, has activated a Test Before Invest service with Start 4.0 to develop and test an innovative Proof of Concept in the field of digital construction sites.
The project, funded by the PNRR – Next Generation EU, aims to evaluate the effectiveness of technologies based on artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision applied to the optimization of construction site processes.
The initiative involves the design of an advanced technological architecture, which combines edge systems, intelligent cameras and voice assistants for real-time monitoring of activities and operating conditions on construction sites.
The key objective is to compare two distinct approaches – one based on computer vision, the other on LLM and RAG models – to verify their limits, potential and integration possibilities.
The project includes the definition of functional requirements, the development of the prototype, the implementation of tests on concrete use cases and the production of a complete technical report to evaluate its scalability.
With this intervention, Start 4.0 accompanies Harpaceas on a path of concrete innovation, offering decision-making tools for more aware and targeted technological investments in the digital construction sector.
