Ansaldo Nucleare has chosen Start 4.0 for an advanced training course in OT, IoT and IIoT cybersecurity, aimed at strengthening the awareness and technical skills of its staff in protecting industrial digital infrastructures.
The project, funded by the PNRR – Next Generation EU, is part of the technological growth plan of the company, active in the nuclear energy field and involved in strategic programs on an international scale.
The course had a total duration of 32 hours, divided into six thematic modules: from SCADA and ICS industrial control systems to OT protocols, from the IEC 62443 and ISO 270xx regulations to NIST frameworks, up to the integration between IT/OT security and cyber incident management.
A particular focus was dedicated to the design of secure systems by design, the role of the supply chain in risk management and the challenges posed by the NIS2 directive and the new Machinery Regulation.
Thanks to this intervention, Ansaldo Nucleare has been able to consolidate its internal strategic skills, improve the safety posture of its plants and align itself with international best practices.
Start 4.0 thus confirms itself as a partner of excellence for specialized training in contexts of high technological complexity, strategic for national energy safety and autonomy.
