Start 4.0 participates in FLEX4FACT: digital flexibility for sustainable manufacturing
Start 4.0 is a partner in the FLEX4FACT project, an initiative funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe program, which aims to revolutionize the concept of industrial sustainability through the digitalization of energy processes.
The project’s goal is to develop an industrial flexibility platform to support European factories in their energy transition, reducing resource consumption and optimizing energy load management.
At the heart of the project is a modular, multi-level digital architecture that integrates advanced tools to monitor, analyze, and manage manufacturing companies’ energy needs in real time. This approach aims to make production processes more resilient, efficient, and sustainable, even in complex industrial contexts.
In line with its mission, Start 4.0 contributes to the project with its expertise in digital technologies, cybersecurity, and support for the adoption of Industry 4.0 solutions, offering operational and strategic support to facilitate implementation on an industrial scale.
With FLEX4FACT, European industry is taking a step towards a more flexible and sustainable future, where technology becomes a concrete lever for environmental and economic transformation.
