Bazzica, a leading company in the transformation of expanded polystyrene and polypropylene, has launched an important consultancy project with Start 4.0 to optimize and digitize the materials recycling chain.
Funded by the PNRR – NextGenerationEU, the project aims to improve the Group’s production processes with a view to sustainability, efficiency and traceability.
The consultancy, carried out with the support of aizoOn, is divided into four phases: technological assessment, system design and data analysis, development of an LCA model and staff training.
The main objective is to internalize the recycling process and ensure that the materials produced can be recovered effectively and in compliance with environmental standards.
The project also includes the introduction of new technologies and biodegradable materials, logistics optimization and the integration of company data to monitor the entire production cycle.
Through the digitization of processes and the valorization of data, Bazzica strengthens its commitment to a more sustainable and circular production model, confirming how even an SME can lead innovation while respecting the environment.”
