Start 4.0, in collaboration with Piemonte Innova, has launched a broad supply chain cybersecurity assessment program aimed at SMEs operating in various industrial sectors, with the aim of evaluating the company’s digital security posture and defining targeted improvement paths. The service, funded by the PNRR – Next Generation EU, involved companies active in the automotive, packaging, carpentry, ICT, advanced manufacturing and third sector sectors.
Each intervention included five phases: analysis of company awareness, guided individual assessment, return of results with a roadmap of priority actions, targeted training on the main vulnerabilities and a final check to verify the implementation of the recommendations. The activity involved, among others, companies such as Sargomma, Europack, RGTech, SC Saldatura Carpenteria, Open Terzo Settore, demonstrating the scalability and effectiveness of the model even in very heterogeneous production contexts.
Through the integration of technical analysis, people involvement and skills enhancement, the program has fostered greater internal awareness and more informed investment decisions, strengthening the digital resilience of the Piedmontese production fabric.
A concrete example of the role that Start 4.0 can play in technology transfer at the service of the safety, competitiveness and innovation of Italian companies.
