The Western Ligurian Sea Port System Authority has launched a strategic cybersecurity training project with Start 4.0, aimed at strengthening the digital security of its infrastructures and the awareness of its employees.
The initiative stems from the growing attention to the issue of cyber-resilience of ports, considered critical assets for national security and for the continuity of logistics chains.
The training program included the activation of a digital learning platform, which integrates theoretical content, simulated phishing campaigns and interactive modules, capable of training the various internal professional profiles in a targeted manner.
Both operational employees and figures with IT and management responsibilities were involved, with a view to transversal and widespread training.
Thanks to this intervention, the Port Authority is equipped with tools and skills to deal with cyber threats more promptly, thus strengthening the resilience and efficiency of the ports of Genoa and Savona.
Start 4.0 confirms its role as a key partner for the secure innovation of strategic infrastructures, at the service of the competitiveness and protection of the Italian logistics system
