NEXT.TRAINPORT: Skills and Training for the Future of Port Work
Start 4.0 is a partner in the NEXT.TRAINPORT project, an initiative funded by the Erasmus+ program and coordinated by the Municipality of Livorno, which aims to strengthen skills in the port sector through innovative training programs geared toward the future of work.
The primary objective is to concretely address the challenges of the port sector, increasingly influenced by digitalization, automation, and the green transition, enhancing human capital as a key element for sustainable and competitive growth.
NEXT.TRAINPORT aims to:
- develop new training models for port professions,
- update existing skills,
- promote youth employment with a focus on inclusiveness and innovation.
Start 4.0, with its experience in the digitalization of port logistics processes and advanced technical training, contributes to the project by providing training content, methodologies, and tools for developing the digital and professional skills required by new Industry dynamics.
