On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Genoa Blue District will host the annual event of the European FLEX4FACT project, organized in Italy by Start 4.0.

The meeting, entitled “The Role of Energy Flexibility in Production Scenarios and Territories,” will be an opportunity for businesses, institutions, research centers, and experts to discuss the future of energy flexibility and demand response strategies from a sustainable, resilient, and digital perspective.

The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. with participant accreditation, followed by institutional greetings at 9:30 a.m. The session will get into full swing at 9:45 a.m. with a session dedicated to the Flex4Fact project, from the European framework to the national use case. After a break at 10:30 a.m., work will resume at 11:00 a.m. with a round table discussion on the topic of “Businesses and Networks in Transition: Flexibility as a Lever for a Sustainable and Resilient Energy System.”

At noon, a panel discussion will be held. A discussion on energy communities and their role in sustainable regional development will follow, with conclusions scheduled for 1:00 PM. The morning will conclude with a convivial networking lunch, from 1:15 PM to 2:00 PM, designed to foster dialogue and the creation of new synergies among participants.

This event confirms Genoa as an international hub for reflection and innovation on energy transition issues.
