Ullmann s.a.s., a historic Ligurian company leader in Italy in the import, export and distribution of technical articles in the hardware, tool, construction and paint sectors, has obtained the registration of the Ullmann brand in the register of national brands of historical interest held by the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM). The register, established in 2019, collects the trademarks registered or used continuously for at least fifty years by national manufacturing companies of excellence historically linked to the national territory. Always synonymous with quality and avant-garde, the Ullmann brand has spanned almost a century of history and thus joins a select list of historic brands that represent the tradition and innovation of Made in Italy. Founded in Genoa in 1931 by Enrico Armando Ullmann, the company has grown and evolved over the decades, maintaining solid roots in family tradition and gaining a prominent position in the sector. From the years of post-war reconstruction, when it introduced the first “do-it-yourself” tools, to the current collaborations with international manufacturers, Ullmann has always anticipated and satisfied the needs of the market. A path of growth and innovation that has never stopped, as demonstrated by the recent achievement of the ISO 9001:2005 Quality Certification and the AEO – Authorised Economic Operator authorization by the Customs Agency. The result of becoming a recognized historic brand was made possible thanks to a PNRR project coordinated by START 4.0 through which Ullmann benefited from a facilitated intellectual property (IP) protection service, provided by BIPART, a law firm specialized in the enhancement and protection of intellectual property rights and art.
